Day 1 Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
A professional tour guide from Monumental Expedition will pick you at Kigali International Airport or your hotel in Kigali and then proceed with a Kigali city tour. The Kigali Genocide Memorial is the ultimate resting place for over 250,000 fatalities of Rwanda’s Tutsi Genocide. Through knowledge peace and unity, it pays tribute to the more than one million Rwandans who died in 1994. You will be moved to the Lodge in roughly 4 to 5 hours. You’ll be sleeping in one of their comfortable ego safari huts. You’ll be leaving here morning to go gorilla trekking.

Day 2 Gorilla trekking and evening Batwa visit
After breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters with a packed lunch for a necessary briefing before trekking the gorillas in the deep impenetrable jungle on your second day of 3 Days of Bwindi gorilla trekking from Kigali. After trekking for 2-8 hours, you get to spend an hour with the gorillas. If you have time and still feel strong, take a short communal walk to the local Batwa village. Visit the curio stores, and children’s school, and learn more about their distinct culture, among other things. Dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3 Departure back to Kigali
